I have no problem with paying a WR a ton of money, but Ridley ain't it. These are the contracts that destroy the market and now Jefferson is going to easily command $60M fully guaranteed.

Both Hopkins and Ridley played the Pats to squeeze as money out as they could with the Titans.

Watts is Beau Allen 2.0.

Their FA signings not current players have been pretty terrible - 2020 esque.

I’d have taken that deal, reservations and all, because the team could probably have gotten out of it before it hamstrung us. I do agree that this has been a disappointing FA class, though.

Overpaying Ridley would be giving him a 3 yr deal with like $36M guaranteed. Very risky with his age and prob not worth it.

Here's where you're making my point. You have been underbidding all this session. You seem to be completely ignoring the current fiscal reality and the huge $30m cap number bump.
