General chit chat and shit talk.

i can't have reeses in my house because they disappear. i was almost addicted to peanut butter m&ms years ago. haven't had one in years because i can't trust myself. i indulge my reeses jones by occasionally eating a pb cup sundae at a locale ice cream place, or another pb dessert at a restaurant.
I’m the same way with peanut butter. It’s been my #1 foe with weight loss. I can’t even buy jars of it to make sandwiches for the kids because I’ll be spooning it into my mouth at 2 AM. Not exaggerating.

Comfort food, nostalgia, sugary, salty, savory…peanut butter has all of the addictive qualities in food. It’s so yummy.

do you like almond milk? after much experimentation,i've found the best pb sub i have ever had and came up with a way to make it tastier.
4 tbsp of this(i get it in a bag at costco and just refill my original jar,but amazon, etc has it too).:

add 1/3 or so c of unsweetened vanilla almond milk. mix until it forms a "paste",no lumps. don't add too much almond milk.
5 "squirts" of almond milk whip topping (i get mine at aldi) stir in until mixture is creamy with no lumps
this is my "go to" for when i crave pb. i pretty much always use it with fruit. mostly apples and bananas. i have also used unsweetened chocolate almond milk.
total calories about 205

I was 3 so I have no recollection, probably means I got out of shoveling though.
I was 8 ... Remember looking out my bedroom window (over the garage) and seeing a drift just a foot or so below it. I managed to walk the length of our street - from backyard to backyard - and did not see any of the chain link fences that separated the yards.

My parents told me stories growing up. We were in a 1st floor apartment in central MA. Snow drift over the front door type stuff.

I almost bought that a while ago. Looks great. I went with this one instead because it has a little better calorie / protein ratio, which I need right now. It’s a great feeling looking forward to a protein shake.

You mean that most women prefer taller men?
i think that a lot of men and women have things hardwired into them as aid to successful mate selection, physically speaking. i'm a big "genetics is most everything" person though.

Agree.

I have no problem with this woman being honest about her biological preferences. It makes sense and she explains she feels more protected with a man who is at least 5’10”. She knows that from her own experience and explains it. Men are obviously also attracted to distinct physical features in woman, no further explanation needed here.

I think what bothers men is when women list out something like “Must be 6’2” or “Must be 6’0”. Something about it is a turnoff in its delivery…like, a man wouldn’t say “Must be at least a DD” or “must weigh under 130 lbs”. Listing the height like that in a dating app makes women sound like they’re shopping for item, and every man reading it is thinking “I hope you get a 6’3” guy who cheats on you because you deserve it.” Meanwhile there are tons of stories about women who found a man who was shorter than what they’re used to and wound up getting married. So, the “cutoff” things also seems stupid.

Someone also pointed out how the imperial system makes American women particularly idiotic in their standards. 6’0” is ideal while 5’10” is average. However, in most countries there’s not really much difference between 183 and 178 centimeters. So I have a lot more respect when a woman measures out her own personal situation and height and preferences, as in this video.
