General chit chat and shit talk.

Guess I'm going to the movies back to back nights here. Tonight at the theater about 200 feet away, I'm going to go see "Becoming Led Zeppelin" at 7:00. I'll get good and toasted for that!!

Tomorrow night I'm going to see the new "Captain America" movie about an hour away. We were supposed to go last Saturday night, but decided against going because of the snow.

My buddy's a comic book fan. We have to see every superhero movie that comes out. I've seen some real stinkers including Madame Web and the last movie "Krull(?) the warrior". Just fucking awful.

It started out with the MCU being "must see in the theater" and "Can't wait to buy a copy on DVD". Then it fell to "Wait until it hits cable" and "Well, I'll buy it so I can have all the franchise. Then it fell to "If I'm bored and there's nothing else on, I might watch it one of these days on a free preview or something, or maybe I'll borrow it from the library if I think about it, because I'm not fighting commercials for that crap" and "I'm not paying money for a DVD of that shit". Now, Marvel's gotten so bad that I don't even waste my time borrowing the new titles from the library, and I actually said "Thanks, but no thanks" to a couple of DVDs of the last round of shitty movies that were offered to me at a huge discount.

I'd hoped that Marvel would wake the fuck up, and that the company would start making good movies again, but that apparently has not yet happened.

So this one will be another one that goes unseen, not bought, and completely forgotten.

Yeah, I'm not thrilled about seeing it. We are trying the new seats that rock with the action, so there's that. I'm looking forward to seeing the movie "Becoming Led Zeppelin" a lot more than this movie.

Let us know what you think about the seats, please.

I saw the last one with Thanos in theaters because I didn’t want it to be spoiled for me, but it was always a “good time killing” franchise for me. I think “Civil War” was its peak. The rest, I caught up on when they came out on cable.

This one has good user reviews and bad critical reviews which is… interesting. I still won’t watch it. “Thor: Love and Thunder” was so bad that I quit Marvel.

I'll never watch one with Mackey as Captain America, so this was a non-starter even before the wokeness and shittiness required massive re-shoots. Finding out about those things just cemented my position. And, with GOTG done, I may never watch another non-Deadpool/non-Spider-man MCU movie.

And, for the record, Miles Morales can fuck right off, too.

Ah. I lost track of the convo. Those were the seats you recommended though, I believe.
I'm trying the moving seats tonight for the first time in the movies. I was saying that you had used them before.
