March Madness discussion.

lane and jason dwarfed those WWE guys lol.. NFL players are fucking huge

Wrestlers have gotten smaller and more athletic for the most part. There are still some monsters though.

Good game here, the Nelson / Clingan battle is fun.

Sami Zayn upset Gunther for the Intercontinental Title. Great match. He was a +400 Underdog, I believe.

UConn with the win. I can't actually lose (Beers can tie me). But, it makes sense that, if Beers goes against me in this last game, and his team wins, he should get the title via tiebreaker.

Best of luck to you, Beers.

No you two will need to choose a score I think and the person who guesses the closest to the actual score wins if you two end up tied in the end

Right @Lord Dingleberry

But the only way he can tie me is for his team to win and mine to lose. So he's picking the winner anyway. Even if my actual score is closer, I'd still have the loser winning at that point.

In other words, if I pick 50-49 for team A, and he picks 100-50 for team B, and team B wins 50-49, I would technically win that tiebreaker while being wrong about the winner. I'd rather give Beers the win in a case like that.

This only matters if we pick different teams in the championship. But, if that's what happens, I say let the winner be the winner.

I'll let the guy giving out the $$$ decide @Lord Dingleberry your call

@Beers and @Deus Irae PM me or Guts with the total number of points to be scored in the final.

We'll make the numbers public to all before the game Monday.

To me, the setup of the pickem is a points-based contest. If at the end there's a tie, then the winner goes to the tie-breaker, which is closest final (total points) prediction. Makes sense.

I think you're exactly right.

I got killed with NC State tonight. I had a ton of money on them to win today then lose to UCONN in the finals. But at least UCONN came through, if it didn't I wouldn't have any money left.
