March Madness discussion.

If the girls game taught us anything then Uconn is the lean here

True, though I would add in the addendum that the difference between a 3 point shooter and someone who can dominate the paint is a big one.

Interestingly, here on this site, the contestants are overwhelmingly picking Purdue.

I have every Dingle dollar I had invested in UCONN tonight. I think they're on a mission and will win by ay least 12.

People like that 6 points. I'm not afraid of it.

But I was showing you the pick'em context. That was the breakdown for here, straight up. This board is voting something like 4:1 that Purdue will win. And the only ones who should be making that choice cynically is Beers, if he thinks I'm picking UConn, or me, if I'm thinking that Beers is going to pick Purdue thinking I'll pick UConn.

So, in theory, a 4:1 majority of the contestants genuinely thinks Purdue's going to win.

And I find that interesting as I ponder my final decision.

I'm sorry. I should have looked at that more closely. That is kind of strange. I'm certainly hoping UCONN will dominate.

Here's a couple of fun facts:
  • UCONN: The Huskies are 17-1 against the spread in their last 18 neutral-site games
  • PUR: Big Ten teams are 0-7 ATS in their last seven national championship game appearances

If it's not too late for you to adjust your betting, you might want to take a look at how both teams have been performing against the under....

Just don't blame me if you make a change and it doesn't pan out.

That Edey scares me for Perdue. He's a fucking beast out there. but, that being said, I'm still firm in my commitment to UCONN.

I think people are picking Purdue because they wanna see the dog win.

There certainly is a strategy between you and I, being that I can't win if we pick the same team.
