Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson has no doubt about his availability for Sunday’s game against the Texans.

Jefferson was listed as a limited participant in practice for the second day in a row on Thursday, but said after practice, via Kevin Seifert of ESPN.com, that he feels “great” and will “for sure” be in the lineup as the Vikings try for a 3-0 start.

The outlook is not so good for Jefferson’s fellow wideout Jordan Addison. He remained out of practice with the ankle injury he suffered in Week One and it seems unlikely that he’ll be back in the lineup this weekend with just one day of practice since his injury...

Bengals receiver Tee Higgins expects to make his 2024 debut against the Commanders on Monday Night Football.

That’s my plan,” Higgins said, via video from Kelsey Conway of the Cincinnati Enquirer.

Higgins injured his hamstring during the Sept. 5 practice and missed the first two games. He returned to practice Thursday for the first time since his injury.
“Just overstrided one time. Hamstrings, you’ve got to really stretch them,” Higgins said. “Just happened to get tight that day. Tweaked it. Didn’t think it was anything, but it ended up being something more than what I thought it was and had to sit out those two weeks.”

Higgins calls himself “100 percent.”...

The Chicago Bears will not have veteran wide receiver Keenan Allen available for a second straight game when they take on the Indianapolis Colts in Week 3.

The Bears officially ruled out Allen (heel) in their final injury report for September 22’s game against the Colts after he missed the entire week of practice. Head coach Matt Eberflus also indicated there is a “personal” reason why Allen will not play and added that the six-time Pro Bowler will not travel to Indianapolis with the team this week...

NBC sports commentator Cris Collinsworth isn't going anywhere.

The retired Cincinnati Bengals receiver and long-time voice of Sunday Night Football is expected to sign a four-year extension with NBC, according to The Athletic. That deal would keep Collinsworth at NBC through the 2029-30 season, putting him in line to call Super Bowls for the network in 2026 and 2030.

Details of the deal have not been revealed and NBC Sports spokespeople did not immediately respond to DailyMail.com's request for comment...

Evan Engram made the pro bowl last year with 963 yards and and 4 TDs…on 143 targets! Hard to fathom that level of insane inefficiency. 6.7 ypt, basically his career average. He’s a bad blocker, so he’s basically a de facto #1/2 wide receiver for the Jags. That’s fucking hilarious. If his posiition were just WR he’d be like a practice squad for production given all those targets.

Maybe the Jags offense will improve with his absence.
