NFL General News

I think the league would love for the Chiefs to be a three time champion and "dethrone" the Patriots. I think they can make it happen.
I wouldn't go that far yet or I wouldn't watch lol
But it is starting to get there

Would we be interested in a 31 year old WR? Only 17M cap hit this year...minus about 4 games played...

But his cap number jumps to 35M+ the next two years if we don't re-do a deal....

He wouldn't come here either way

The answer should, absolutely, be yes

He wouldn't come here either way

Sad, but probably all too true

Obviously Jets would seem like a favorite. Buffalo could use the help, KC and Chargers but same division might eliminate them. Steelers, Cards, Redskins are other teams that could have interest.

The Jets cap space situation, per OTC:

Total Cap Liabilities: $243,666,600
  • Top 51: $177,781,442
  • Team Cap Space: $16,809,151
would seem to either limit this possibility or at least require some re-working. The Bills have even less free space, currently. Dallas and Detroit would make some sense AND have the immediate cap space.

And, of course, New England, with a very large amount of cap available moving forward, could offer to add another year onto his contract if he'll come here.

Good point on the cap, supposedly all of Amari Coopers salary has been converted to bonus to make him "affordable" via trade, he might be an option for a cap-strapped team. Adams ain't coming here who are we kidding lol.

The Cowboys made if official Tuesday, placing defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence on injured reserve. He will miss at least four games before becoming eligible to return.

Lawrence has a Lisfranc injury in his right foot and is expected to need 4-8 weeks to recover, so the move was expected...

Tyler Huntley will get his second straight start at quarterback for the Dolphins on Sunday against the Patriots.

Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel said today that Skylar Thompson is not yet 100 percent cleared from his rib injury and Huntley will get the nod in New England. Huntley got his first start as a Dolphin in Monday night’s loss to the Titans and did not play well, completing 14 of 22 passes for 96 yards.

“We’re planning on going with Tyler,” McDaniel said. “After reviewing the tape, there’s reasons for guys to be excited about that because while the output wasn’t nearly what we wanted offensively, there were some things to build upon that we’ll keep working through.”...

Bills linebacker Von Miller is off to a strong start in 2024, with three sacks in four games. He’ll now miss the next four.

The NFL announced that Miller has been suspended four games without pay for violating the NFL’s Personal Conduct Policy.

“Miller will be eligible for reinstatement on October 28 following the Bills’ Week 8 game against the Seattle Seahawks,” the league said...

Browns defensive tackle Mike Hall Jr. recently pleaded no contest to disorderly conduct to resolve the case that began with his domestic violence arrest this summer and the NFL disciplined him under the Personal Conduct Policy on Tuesday.

Hall has been suspended five games by the league. Hall had been on the Commissioner’s Exempt list, so he has not played yet this season.

Hall was paid while on the exempt list. He will not be paid during his suspension...

He just wants to win lol

Stay away from this guy. Will be 32 in two months. Decided to sign with the Raiders and promptly began his whine fest right away. What did he think he was getting into? Now wants to go to a fringe playoff contender.
