I would've been all over Pearsall if he had still been available with our 2nd-rounder... Instead, we're stuck with yet another slow, clueless punk bust.

They drafted Washington's (college, not pro) WR3 at the top of the second round when they could either have traded up to get a different WR or traded out to get a 1st round pick this upcoming season. So far the decision looks terrible. And, like you (I'm sure, given your post here), I doubt Polk is ever going to be a true WR1, so the decision is probably never going to look great.

The Browns have decided where they’d like to play their future home games — and it’s not on the shores of Lake Erie.

Per Daryl Ruiter of 92.3 The Fan, the Browns have elected to forgo a renovation of their current stadium to pursue a dome near Cleveland Hopkins airport in Brook Park.
The franchise revealed its plans for the domed stadium in August, though at that time, the club noted renovating the current downtown stadium was a possibility. Cleveland Mayor Justin Bibb had offered the Browns $461 million in funding for a renovation of the venue now known as Huntington Bank Field. But Ruiter reports that funding plan would not be enough to cover the stadium’s renovation needs over a 30-year lease.

Browns owner Jimmy Haslam and chief operating officer David Jenkins informed Bibb of the team’s decision to pursue a dome on Sept. 9...

Jamal Adams’ brief tenure in Tennessee is coming to an end.

The Titans have agreed to release Adams, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN. That comes as no surprise, as Adams has played just 20 snaps this season and is injury-prone and a shell of his former Pro Bowl self.

Tennessee recently placed Adams on the non-football injury list, but he will now be a free agent and eligible to sign with any team immediately...

Saints receiver Rashid Shaheed will be out for at least the next four games.

New Orleans has placed Shaheed on injured reserve due. The current leading receiver for the club, Shaheed has a meniscus injury and is slated to undergo surgery in Los Angeles to determine whether he’ll be out for a few weeks or the rest of the 2024 season...

The Giants placed left tackle Andrew Thomas on injured reserve, the team announced Thursday. Thomas will miss the rest of the 2024 season after undergoing surgery on a Lisfranc injury in his foot.

Thomas, the No. 4 overall pick of the 2020 draft, was injured during the third quarter of Sunday’s loss to the Bengals. But he played all 79 offensive snaps of the contest.

He had played 100 percent of New York’s offensive snaps in 2024...

Polk was a very good WR for them, super productive, and he was the #2. Jury is still out here but he's shown enough to have hope, he'll get better as the season goes on with Maye

???

Odunze and McMillan were 1 and 2

McMillan's numbers are less because he missed a bunch of games.
He did miss 4 games, and McMillan was outside more the 2 previous years, but he moved into the slot, 67% last season. Google AI says he filled in for both outside spots Odunze/Polk at times. Polk was the clear outside #2 last year though, all three guys look like good players to me, though none have been very productive in the NFL yet.

Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson will be back in the starting lineup against the Dolphins on Sunday...

...While Richardson is back, the wait for running back Jonathan Taylor will go on for at least another week. It’s the third game that Taylor will miss with an ankle injury that he said has been improving when he spoke to reporters earlier this week.

Steichen also said that cornerback Chris Lammons has been ruled out with an ankle injury. The Colts will release a full injury report later on Friday.

Anthony Richardson will start for Colts, Jonathan Taylor won’t play

...Seven players have been ruled out and three more players are listed as doubtful to play on Sunday. The latter group includes linebacker Jadeveon Clowney, who missed last week’s game with the shoulder injury that is likely to keep him out this week as well.

Rookie running back Jonathon Brooks (knee) is one of the six who definitely won’t play. Brooks returned to practice this week after tearing his ACL at Texas last season, but he won’t be activated to face Washington.

Defensive end A’Shawn Robinson (knee), linebacker Josey Jewell (hamstring, groin), linebacker Claudin Cherelus (hamstring), right tackle Taylor Moton (elbow), and linebacker Jon Rhattigan (knee, illness) are also going to miss the game. Safety Sam Franklin (foot) and defensive tackle Jaden Crumedy are listed as doubtful to be activated from injured reserve...

Jadeveon Clowney doubtful, Jonathon Brooks one of seven players ruled out for Panthers

They should just play Flacco, they are better with him

I agree with the basic idea, but they do need to figure out whether the kid can start in the league (for the 8-10 games a season he might be healthy).
