49ers quarterback Brock Purdy was injured on a sack by Lions defensive back Brian Branch with 1:36 left in Monday Night Football.

49ers coach Kyle Shanahan said his starting quarterback injured his right elbow.

“We think it’s some nerve stuff,” Shanahan said, via Cam Inman of Bay Area News Group.

Purdy will undergo an MRI on his elbow Tuesday to determine the severity. His status for Sunday’s season finale against the Cardinals is in question...

After he got drafted, when he came back to Austin, he came into the music store I worked at and bought like 100K in music gear for a studio. It was pretty cool, from my department (drums/percussion) he ended up with full set of V-drums top end model, and a bunch of hand drums, congas, djembe's and whatnot. Pretty cool guy, he signed a bunch of shit for the store.
