Morris was drafted by the Raiders in the fourth round of the 1974 NFL Draft after a standout college career at Ohio State. He played as a wide receiver for the Raiders for eight seasons, contributing significantly to the team's success. Morris was a key player on the Raiders' Super Bowl XI and Super Bowl XV championship teams, leaving an indelible mark on the franchise.
After his playing career, Morris continued to serve the Raiders as an administrator, joining the organization in 1989. He held various business roles within the team for nearly three decades, becoming a mentor, leader, and friend to many. His dedication to the Raiders and his impact on the organization will be remembered fondly by all who knew him.
