Just keeps getting better in Dallas:



Brian Schottenheimer will call the Cowboys’ offensive plays this season, a request of Jerry Jones before the team hired the longtime NFL assistant coach.

“We wanted Brian to call the plays,” Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said Monday, via Shawn McFarland of the Dallas Morning News. “We cherish his relationship with our players. We wanted him to call the plays. . . . I believe, if he doesn’t call the plays, he’s probably not with the Cowboys.”...

The Bengals will not have one of their key young offensive players for the entirety of next season.

According to Paul Dehner Jr. of TheAthletic.com, tight end Erick All Jr. is expected to miss all of 2025 with a knee injury.

All tore his ACL in early November and it turns out there are complications from a previous knee surgery he underwent in college. All needs two surgeries instead of one in order to fix every issue...

Matt Eberflus was identified as the top candidate for the Cowboys’ defensive coordinator position before the team officially hired Brian Schottenheimer as their head coach and Eberflus is now part of the organization as well.

The Cowboys announced Eberflus’s hiring on Tuesday afternoon. They did not share any terms of the deal...
