The reason they want to push the Jordan-Mahomes garbage is they want Mahomes to have this universal level of coolness where everyone loves him and is in awe of his game, like Jordan. They tried to do this with Manning too.

Some examples of this stupid shit: calling a Mahomes game “the sprained ankle game” the moment it ends (due to run of the mill injury almost every QB deals with at times) and trying to hard to shoehorn it into some legendary performance that will be in the annals of history immediately. It’s an artificial, media hyped narrative. Which is why it’s so glorious watching this guy shit the bed like that.
