If we had even marginally better play from the QB position, we’re winning that game on Sunday. The play calling became very predictable and safe. A run/pass ratio of 31/26 is fine, depending on the opponent, but it can’t sustain drives and the D is exhausted by the end of the game. Seattle was also beginning to crowd closer to the LoS in the second half because they had no fear whatsoever of us being able to make them pay for it.

None of those 3 were because of the QB, and all 3 of those impacted the QB in a negative way. Also, as I showed before, this year's rookie QBs are off to slow starts, so the idea that Maye would be a better choice is a product of pure guesswork that ignores the reality of almost every single bit of context we have.
