As much as I love the mains - bulgogi and the like - it's all the extras (banchan). Awesome stuff.

The place I went to tonight was a very tasty choice, but it was heavily focused on the mains and very basic veggie offerings.
There are two more Korean places in the area to try, and I know that one of them is big on the banchan. It's been tough to convince people to give them a shot, because we've got some good Thai places around and they always want to go there (And one of them is a Thai place with enough Korean dishes for them to give me the "You can have..." line), but I think tonight broke down that wall, so now they'll be more eager to try the other places.
I really wish there was a good Hungarian place around, though. The Cafe Budapest has been closed for a long time, and I've not found anything close to that on the east coast in all the years since.
