I don't know that I'd give up and just play the hope game with the kids, but.....
Giving up a first and a third, and then paying Aiyuk more than $25 million a year on a new deal, because you were too cheap to add another 1-2 million to the Ridley deal would have to be a firing offense.
I hate when they do this!! There's no need for it.
