  1. Is Maye going to make this team a SB contender? Yes.
  2. Is Maye going to get this team to the playoffs? They are an instant SB contender with him as the starter, so obviously yes.
  3. Will Maye be hurt by not playing this year, or by only playing later on in the year? You learn by playing the game.
  4. Can a young QB fall into career-long bad habits, or even be basically damaged beyond repair, if they get destroyed early in their career? No. This has never happened. Every QB who has failed has done so because they suck at football.

I was think about this over the weekend, read a couple roster projections that had him on the team. I went and looked at his snaps in the two ps games and when they were. Also some notes from practice reps from Kyles and those guys and it occurred to me, Thornton is making the team.

He must be doing something in practice we aren't hearing about.
