They should've started him last week for his 1st start instead of this one vs a top team.

IMO, if they wanted to start him in the first half of the season, the best game for it would have been the November 3rd game (Titans). It would have been game 9 (a/k/a the new mid-season), and it would have been against the Titans.

But that's just from a guy who doesn't know the specifics of that actual plan (me), and might have been being extra cautious. You're spot on about not starting him this week, though, IMO.

Brown did pretty damn well considering he had like 3 days to acclimate. With Strange coming back they seem to be okay on the interior OL. They need to get some continuity at OT though, especially LT, they've played like 6 guys there this season so far.

After watching some film breakdowns of the game.. I'm excited to see more of this offense with Maye. I think it's the right move now to have him play. They are going to stink, that's fine. Let's find out who (of the young guys) can play and are worth keeping around. Especially at WR, OL and some of the younger defenders.

Looking at this Jags game, this team is very beatable. They are so ready to quit on the coach, if they haven't already. This is a road trip to get a W, and build some team confidence by drubbing the Jags and getting Pederson fired. Don't give up explosive plays to them, take care of the ball and this is an easy win.
