I was initially optimistic on the team moving on from BB (after it became clear it was over). I thought it would be refreshing to have a new GM and overall regime change. So far in less than a week the team is doing everything they can to make me think this is going to be a disaster.
If these BB "leaks" have truth to them it paints a much different picture to the team-building failures from the last few years. I have been skeptical to believe the media leaks in general, but if you take what RK has said to his word, and buy into the leaks from both camps... It does seem like ownership meddling was becoming a problem, and will probably continue to be.

I firmly believe it's most likely in the middle. Coach Belichick was starting to feel the tension of the Krafts wanting to get involved and that is why he decided to move on.
