Patriots news

Oh, man....

Jerod Mayo, Eliot Wolf hope drafting Drake Maye leads New England Patriots into next era of success

This could get ugly in a hurry, if the QB doesn't bail them all out. This is shaping up to be the keystone coaches.
"With Bill, we probably would have traded back to get more picks. "

Hey jerod, learn how to do the "on to cincinnati"thing when you are asked about bb. and don't volunteer comments like this.
also over at h.o.i. (house of ian) all the antibills swore we were getting too torqued over glaser. that "she has no role in football decisions, she just does contracts",etc. well i'd say that in addition to her role babysitting mayo on phone calls, helping redesign the locker room sayings etc. is more of a hc thing, not a team lawyer's thing. but ymmv.

While I do get the point about BB trading down, he didn't trade down for Seymour, and his trade down for Mayo didn't cost the team a player they would otherwise have taken. So, to me, the trade down comment was misplaced, or at least missing context. If BB was running this year's draft, and it was a trade down at #3, it would have been because he didn't like the player.
