Injuries, free agency, drop off in play, division could get better a lot of things need to go right to go to the Superbowl
thats cause people can tackle Kelce normally, they couldn't tackle Gronk because he wasn't a normal human.. so they started going at his knees
the forearm injury was a pretty freak injury that got infected, and then re-broke because they didnt go with the full size metal plate.. people just took massive shots at Gronk all the time, I never see Kelce take even 10% of those hits because hes more of a WR like Aaron Hernandez than a TE like Gronk

the GOAT had to retire before Mahomes could win... and now you're flexing that the GOAT who annihilated Mahomo in the playoffs, including a blowout in SB, is retired now... elevating Mahomo and removing his 1 insurmountable obstacle.. Brady had to go thru hall of famers every single year in the AFC playoffs, and many times in SBs
soon he'll ask for another raise, and use the "well its not about the money, im really just doing it for all the little QBs out there so they can dream big" or whatever BS he tried to pull as a publicity stunt last time he got a raise and tried to make it sound like charity.. and it will hit their cap more, and they'll keep losing talent like Chris Jones (hopefully) to FA, and have other teams steal their coordinators and assistants away in droves, and the magic will be gone..
KC is picking at the end of the draft, so you'll have slow attrition via lower value draft picks... and soon mediocre guys on the roster will want to start being paid like studs, and they'll get it in FA because of the superbowl inflation
KC basically stole one this year, Mahomes had a very average year but the defense was elite and showed up huge in the superbowl.. sort of like Manning's 2nd SB where the Denver D carried his corpse to another ring
KC will have the target on their back now, will have to get every teams best.. even garbage teams whos season is over, but want to use you for their little superbowl to have something to feel good about... and the longer seasons with playoffs and shorter offseasons will eventually roll snake eyes on their luck with injuries.. no way that statistically can keep going on the way it has for them. mahomes scramble ball can't work forever, eventually he'll have to be a pocket QB or retire

Gronk would obviously have been the TE1. And Hernandez was a more versatile TE2 than Kelce would have been, and better capable of playing off of Gronk in more situations.
Kelce would have been the TE3.
