I have the 49ers winning 24-20. McCaffery MVP.
It's not acting tough though...Mahomes and Kelce are statistically and after Sunday the most dominant duo in NFL history. Facts are factsWhat’s funny is how Tom and Gronk owned the Chiefs with a 3-0 postseason record and shattered them in 2016, 2019, and 2020, and little bitch Chiefs fan wait until after they’re retired to denigrate them and act tough. I would take much better to a Giants or Ravens fan talking smack, or a team that actually beat them, rather than this group of beta male cocksuckers.
They really haven't though besides the 1st half of the Ravens game and vs 3rd string Buffalo defense they haven't wow or anything..All time QBs find a way to up their game in the postseason. The Swift narrative also is a big deal. I don't see Kelce getting shutout or slowed down
I hope so Sensei I don't see it thoI have the 49ers winning 24-20. McCaffery MVP.
Nah gimme Brady/Gronk all day everydayIt's not acting tough though...Mahomes and Kelce are statistically and after Sunday the most dominant duo in NFL history. Facts are facts
The stats don't back up that claim. Mahomes and Kelce clears every duo there has ever been. In less amount of games too than Brady/GronkNah gimme Brady/Gronk all day everyday
If the Chiefs win they won't get to 28 points I agree there. They'll need to win a low scoring game that's been the story all season long.I don't see anyway the Chiefs hit 28 pts even if they win. I have KC 17 SF 14. The Chiefs defense is nasty
Fair enough points and I'm not boasting or busting chops here I'm just confident because we have the best player in the league, the best coach in the league and a defense that can carry us if the offense is off.I think there’s some overconfidence mostly because of the idea that momentum carries over when it usually doesn’t, especially with a two week gap and facing the other conference champ (a really tough team.) The Niners stock is low due to a perceived downward slope in their performance, whereas the Chiefs are perceived as on an upward slope in performance.
The fact is the two teams are fairly close but the postseason hasn’t really shown us an overall difference in either team. The Niners defense just played against two very good offenses, and even if they weren’t as sharp as normal that is still some normal variance.
The Chiefs are still only averaging 23 ppg in the postseason despite two very weak defenses in three games, and that’s with incredibly opportune field position forced by that defense.
You're telling me you weren't impressed at all with what Mahomes did with those second rate receivers? He's the best player right now and there's no debateThey really haven't though besides the 1st half of the Ravens game and vs 3rd string Buffalo defense they haven't wow or anything..
I think they're a mirage but I hVe them winning because I don't trust Shanny in the 4th or Purdy
You're being blinded by media narratives broYou're telling me you weren't impressed at all with what Mahomes did with those second rate receivers? He's the best player right now and there's no debate
He hasn't thrown a pick in 6 straight postseason games and he just keeps finding a way how am I blinded? You're being blinded by media narratives bro
Tell me have you watched the games? Mahomes has had all dump passes and screens with the occasional wide open Kelce throw. Everything has been easy and open credit to him for finding the open guy, but he hasn't had anything specialHe hasn't thrown a pick in 6 straight postseason games and he just keeps finding a way how am I blinded?
Isn't that what a QB supposed to do though? Take what the defense gives you? I'd want Dakota to do that all the time.Tell me have you watched the games? Mahomes has had all dump passes and screens with the occasional wide open Kelce throw. Everything has been easy and open credit to him for finding the open guy, but he hasn't had anything special
He has:You're telling me you weren't impressed at all with what Mahomes did with those second rate receivers? He's the best player right now and there's no debate
Don't forget he had a elite defense too whose been doing the carrying lolHe has:
And he led the league by a wide margin in hards after catch, had the lowest air yards, got the most screen passes, short touchdown passes, everything you name it.
- Travis Kelce (perennial all pro)
- Rashee Rice (~1,000 yard rookie WR)
- Marques Valdez-Scantling ($10M, an ideal #2 receiver who was also good in GB)
- Manny Pacheco, an excellent running back
- Two All Pro offensive linemen in Humphrey and Thuney
And we’re going to call it adversity because his #3 receiver sucks?
Unfortunately the correct dosage of Mahomes credit / praise is impossible to give out right now because of the absolutely insane overhype of his historical place in history at this moment. No one on this forum, even the most salty of us, have said he isn’t the best QB in the league. That type of acknowledgement used to mean something but it’s like no one “respects” him until they say something asinine and give him advanced credits for what he’s “gunna do.”He hasn't thrown a pick in 6 straight postseason games and he just keeps finding a way how am I blinded?
See that's the key and why I think the Chefs win...Shanahan is going to go retarded and stop running the ball I can already feel itWhile I wouldn't be surprised if the ref..er Chiefs win. I like the 49ers -2.
The 49ers are the better team, better offense, better playmakers, better QB this year without question. The Chiefs are a bit better on D but that's a wash with the much better SF Offense. Plus the Chiefs run D is absolute trash. 49ers and CMC are going to dominate IMO, I like CMC as MVP also.
