NFL GameDay The official 2024 NFL Draft thread.

GameDay Discussion
He's not going anywhere. It's Deebo that they will move on from. He's been way too unreliable. 2025 is when I think the 49ers will move on from him.

SF has acknowledged getting into trade talks about both WRs.

I wanted the Pats to trade back up for Thomas. Thomas would be the ideal guy to man the split end position while Pop either lines up as the the Y or the Z. Not sure what they did, or didn’t, see there, but a 6’4”, 210 pound WR that runs a 4.33 40 with 17 TDs in the SEC doesn’t come around all that often toward the bottom of the first.

Mitchell or Saumatia with #34....don't overthink it, IMO.

I would trade down if the Bills take Mitchell though...a lot of damn good corners here...someone will give us a 2nd and maybe an extra 3rd....

I know DT isn't the most crucial need, but Jer'Zhan Newton has to be tempting.

1st round talent.

That pick was beyond idiotic. They have some nice pieces on offense. Go get a defensive player.

Those lips man! I thought I was the only one. If I said this on Patsfans I'd get attacked.
Well, our average age isn’t over 60 here so we won’t attack you. The men on this board still have some testosterone flowing in our nuts.

Michael Lombardi going off on Falcons GM and others, hilarious.

Lol, love your avatar gif.
Now I could take that compliment one of two ways: either you like it because you are a fan of Trump or you like it because of how he looks in that gif.

Would love to get Mitchell at 34, I don't like that Buffalo is picking ahead of us there.

Every year, these players are hyped to the moon by draft talking heads, who are lucky to get 2 picks right a year. It's really all so tiresome.

There's actual debate, as to whether the Patriots should go after the 9th best WR or 10th best OT at 34. They've watched none of these players, they just see the two letters next to their name for their position.

If you wanted one of those two positions, then you trade back into the first, and get one that can actually play, and not the flyers that are left.

If we traded for Deebo I don't think I'd cry about it. As long as it doesn't involve #34

That’s why it’s mind boggling to me that they didn’t jump back into the first to get BTJ.
