Yeah, you can see the ceiling but he needs a lot of help. The team needs to open up the check book in the offseason and, at this point, there’s really nothing positive about wins. Try to get the best draft pick possible and see if you can trade down and accumulate picks. The team has a ton of needs and that’s a fast way to rebuild. We have the money to sign FAs, too, but we will probably need to overpay to get them to come here considering some of the retarded taxes Massachusetts has.
The OL is fucking trash and a real problem, yeah we need WR help, and FS, and LB/DE.. and CB. But the biggest problem might be the coaching staff. This team is completely unprepared to play, undisciplined, and super mistake prone, especially on offense. The penalties on the OL are inexcusable at this point.
He'll recover from this, but I think it really shows the problem with having a tiny person playing QB and running into contact. The modern game, even with all the silly rules protecting the QB, is not designed to have $50 million men running the ball more than a bare minimum of times.
And, after what I wrote two posts above, Barkley with a 72 yard TD run has just iced this game. That's 2 runs of 70+ yards this game for Barkley, and more than 200 yards for the game.
