been watching the apple Dynasty series
the first 4-5 episodes were good...
but holy shit.. starting around episode 5-6, it legit turns Belichick into an evil, organization destroying Godzilla monster
pretty crazy... seems like BB changed his style a bit after being forced to trade Jimmy (Kraft didnt literally forcce him to trade Jimmy, but he told Bill that they wouldnt trade Brady under ANY circumstances)
the entire team was completely miserable in 2017... and then BB benching Butler was like the ultimate F You to end the season
Sounds like the trump support really soured the locker room as well. its amazing they came back from that season and won in 2018 given the circumstances... truly amazing
I was surprised at how many shots Matthew Slater took at BB, he's been a team captain and on this team for a long time, towing the company line... was very surprised by some of his comments
Malcolm Butler im not sure is 100% telling the truth, in terms of him not knowing why he was benched... he must have some idea, and maybe is taking advantage of BB's discretion, but man o man... Belichick really fucked up benching butler in that SB... most coaches would be fired for something like that.. he legit lost the team/locker room with that decision
Also was interesting that they had an idea that Hernandez was into some bad stuff, but sort of looked past it because of how insanely good he was... it was pretty insane tho when that investigator who was being interviewed tried to imply that Belichick killed Odin Lloyd by not trading Hernandez to the west coast... that was fucking bullshit, i cant believe that got thru the final editorial cuts... absolutely insane and disgusting to imply that the way he did
