I believe it. There were rumors of the Patriots sniffing around to trade up for him the year he was drafted, but he went #1 overall. Most of yall know I liked Mayfield when he was coming out, and thought it would be good for him to sit and learn behind Brady. The Bucs are probably going to sign him long-term now. On the off chance they don’t, it will be interesting if Bills brings him in.

The lack of any other moves is disturbing.
I'm fine with firing Belichick if you're going to do a full rebuild - and I'm fine with Mayo if he's the best guy for the job. My concern is there's no rebuild, just a friend of Bob Kraft.

It’s just a patch on what should have been a full reboot. I hope Mayo works out, but my gut (which is currently full of bourbon) tells me we will be looking for another coach in 3 years.
