Confirmed trades and signings

Standout defensive tackle Milton Williams posted his initial reaction on social media after agreeing to terms on a four-year, $104 million deal with the New England Patriots on Monday.

It's a historic contract that will make him the highest-paid player in franchise history, surpassing legendary quarterback Tom Brady on a deal reportedly worth about $26 million per year. The Patriots upped their contract offer when it initially appeared like Williams would sign with the Carolina Panthers.

They were willing to overpay for talent this year in an effort to improve the overall roster. Williams comes to the team with the hopes that his presence will help stabilize the defensive line, which is a unit that lacked depth and production last season.

The former third-round draft pick comes from the Super Bowl-winning Philadelphia Eagles.

He had a stellar season last year, recording 24 combined tackles, five sacks and a pass deflection in 17 games. However, his most notable performance came in the Super Bowl LIX victory over the Kansas City Chiefs when he racked up two sacks and a forced fumble.

The Patriots' defense should receive a strong boost with Williams in the fold. Given the other moves made by the team, it's safe to say the defense is going to look very different in New England next season.

Thanks @LordSensei1958 for the updates. It makes my work day so much better than trying to scroll thru Twitter. I just refresh these threads and have all the NFL transactions.

It's appreciated!
Can I second this! Coming here is better than any SM nonsense. All hail Lord Sense!! 🙇‍♂️

Seahawks and Chargers signing the absolute wrong kind of WRs for their teams. Gotta love that...
What don't you like about them?
