guy on the left
That’s what I thought…wanted to confirm with a woman’s perpective.

I really can’t figure out this roid look and why all these influencers have it. I swear this is a reason why fewer people work out, because the guys representing gym culture and the gym ideals all look like weird ass mutants with giant traps and necks, bulging ass veins, and unnatural bulging muscles. People on Reddit comment on this all the time. People say “I don’t want to get that bulky” and don’t work out, like you’re going to look like that after a few workouts rather than by steroids and years of trying to get that freak look.

The guy on the left could look better with some weight training, no doubt, and there’s this huge middle ground that gets skipped over and it goes straight to mutant insect body.

Found a temporary sweet spot for my 1500 calorie, 150g protein diet plan. Been doing this for about a week and it’s been working great in terms of hunger satiety while hitting the macros.

6 AM - Whey protein shake - 150/30
10 AM - Whey protein shake - 120/24
2 PM - 3 taco bell taco supremes - 590/24
6 PM - Whey protein shake - 120/24
Overnight - Whey protein shake - 220/48

Total: 1200 calories / 150 g protein

Bonus Miscellaneous soup/salad/nibbles fillers (or 4th taco supreme) - 300 calories

May also sub out a shake for some Old Trapper Beef Jerky sticks (140 calories, 22 g protein)
i went on a cleanse for a month in jan 22 and i found it hard to stick to because i like to eat. granted you are on high protein and are doing it for different reasons. but are you really satisfied with that little food? the cleanse i was on limited/eliminated food for the most part. i said to the woman how the hell do you work out while on this? and she said i had to cut down/eliminate working out. i was like yeah...no. i just ate some lean protein or eggs most days.

that look is unattractive in women and men. i get it if they are in competitions or something but...hard no from me.
the people at my studio are all normal looking lol

Oh yeah, surely what I’ve been doing recently won’t be sustainable long term. It’s basically batshit crazy but cravings and hunger are weird things. I’m just glad to be in a temporary little nook where it works for a little while.

Ups and downs, back to eating a lot, binge eating, etc, like a roller coaster, it is inevitable. I look at it now like a pro sports team and a win/loss record. Gonna have streaks, slumps…just always try and focus on winning each day. When you lose, you get to play another game to turn it around tomorrow.

I’ve tried a lot of different things. Here is what I’ve broken it down to in a hierarchy…keep in mind what I’m doing (recomp / building muscle in a calorie deficit isn’t everyone’s goal):

1. Eat enough protein (for so many reasons)

2. Eat enough so you’re not causing yourself to suffer

3. Eat the lowest amount of calories you can while meeting the first two points

4. If you failed today, don’t worry because, since you’re exercising, you’re are being used to build stronger muscles and fibers. Tomorrow it all resets and you can focus on the fat burning again. You didn’t waste anything, whereas if you don’t get enough protein, you have wasted your effort.

Listen to them talk to each other whenever you get a chance. It’s always the shittiest conversation you’ve ever heard. It’s either about their troubles with women, other times they’ve worked out, or them looking for a new job. My brother in Christ, the reason you’re having trouble finding a woman is because your conversational skills are trash.

Fuck this chest press machine is destroying my chest. Horizontal press instead of all the vertical I do with free weights. Gonna have to use this more often. I love to bench but I don’t feel much pump in pecs when I do it…too much absorbed by other muscles.

she looks fantastic! i'd never guess 170 even though i know muscle weighs more than fat.
i don't actually weigh myself often. i haven't had access to a scale in about a year.
Great idea about no scale. The scale doesn’t measure muscle/fat/bones loss, just overall body mass.
