I’ve never been one to agree that losing in a SB is somehow worse than not making it at all. Winning a conference championship is a big deal IMO. If Mahomes retired today, slight edge to Montana, but if Mahomes wins another than he’s definitely passed him.

Yeah he needs another one to pass him. It's just we've gotten our shit pushed in twice now. These things matter at the end of the day. Mahomes has had probably the greatest start to a career ever, but I know the hard part comes now. Bradya prime was in his 30s so that's going to be tough to match

G.O.A.T. is not just about winning Lombardis. If it was, Dilfer would be considered better than Marino. Mahomes is not even on Montana's level right now, never mind about to pass him on the G.O.A.T.. list.

Why are we blaming the Oline @PM15 ? They had three All pros and a steady RT out there.

The Offensive line had their issues tonight , but my GOAT had perhaps the worst game of his career. He had Watson wide open in the 1st pick and the 2nd pick was just a Jameis like pick. The defense did their part in slowing down Barkley and for how long they were out there they had a respectable game. Mahomes-Reid the biggest losers tonight as much as it pains me to say.

once again ....talking about quarterbacks quarterbacks quarterbacks quarterbacks quarterbacks here, there, and everywhere instead of one of the greatest games by a defensive coordinator ever in a Super Bowl. "pro quarterback coaching doesn't matter much" people drive me insane. Hurts did a nice job don't get me wrong but he wasn't spectacular. he didn't have to be though. super bowl mvp...he did his job. I'm not criticizing him. he made some key plays when he needed to despite barkley not busting out. philly ol did a nice job protecting too. He didn't make a lot of obvious errors.But I'm tired of the quarterback always winning the goddamn MVP almost regardless of how they perform in the game. the Philly defense won that Super Bowl. fangio took a defense that was absolute garbage last year (30th in nfl in pa)and turned them into the number one unit in the NFL and they topped their Sunday with the biggest cherry they could have. Of course the players get credit for executing spectacularly and you have to have good players. but a lot of those players are the same players that comprised a shitty defense last year and Nakobe Dean wasn't there.

Mahomes said he would take more ownership of this loss than any other game in his career. He put the Chiefs in a bad spot, he thought, and despite all the times he pulled the Chiefs out of bad spots this season during their string of one-score victories, Mahomes thought he did not play to his standards this season, especially when he struggled early in the year.
Mahomes said he would spend the offseason figuring out how to beat what defenses are doing to him.

"When defenses are going to stay back, I can't make bad plays worse," he said. "Sometimes I get to where I want to make a big play to spark us."
He added he needed to learn to throw the ball away. And until he shows he will take what a defense will give him, they will continue to play back.
"They were going to make me be a fundamental quarterback," Mahomes said. "Play from the pocket and take what they'll give me. In order to make a team blitz, you have to beat what they're showing."
