Patriots news

That's asinine. The team personnel is worse right now than it was last season, and one of the greatest head coaches in NFL history is gone, which means that the coaching will be worse as well. Meanwhile, the Jets have upgraded, the Dolpins and Bills were out of the Patriots league last season, and the Patriots finished dead last in the conference last season, meaning that the team would have to leapfrog every single non-playoff team from last year just to be at the #8 spot and hoping for a wild card team above that ending up dropping out. So...

Last year's division winners:

Bills
Ravens
Texams
Chiefs

Last year's wild card teams:

Dolphins
Browns
Steelers ( and upgraded at the QB spot)

Last year's non-playoff teams likely to improve even if just because of injury/health returnees at the QB spot:

Bengals
Jets

Who's the savior? Tom Brady is not coming out of retirement to play for the Patriots.
It's just trolling in reverse. The anti Bill crowd (including myself) was giving the Team Bill crowd resistance when they were putting all the blame on Mac and they were just a "QB away". Now that Bill is gone, the anti Bill crowd is saying "they're a QB away - this roster is fantastic". It's fucking weird and it's from posters that I liked, but they are taking it too far.
I think that, as time goes on, Pats fans will be more at ease with the choice of letting Brady move on. For one, it settled the debate. Brady was more important. Far more important.
The conversation is still being debated, but you won't get much resistance from the Team Bill crowd. From everything we've found out, Bill had some major balls believing in Tom Brady as Kraft hinted his ass would've been fired had the team crashed and burned with Brady. As a young player, Tom needed Bill. But as time went on (and it didn't take long), the student surpassed the teacher. Some fans are in denial over this.
For another, he won a Super Bowl in his first year away from the team. He likely would have repeated in 2021 had it not been for the OL injuries. Meanwhile, Bill took a big time shit.
If it weren't for the injuries, they repeat for sure. The board had a meltdown after his 1st title without Bill, it would've reached defcon 5 had he won 2 in a row. I remember many posters glad they got eliminated by the Rams.

As much as I would love to see Belichick take aim and dish the dirt he has on them, and I'm sure there is some, I don't think he will. Unfortunately, I think he's above that. His book will probably about training methods and general football activities.

Mangini. Yes. I want a giant BB shit splattered all over that piece of shit.

Rex?
Asante?
i have never been a rex hater. from day one he has always respected bb. he has a rough way of speaking, but he truly respects him. before the last game vs. the nyj,he even said he was rooting for bb to beat them.
a$sante? maybe. i always figure most players like him, welker,d. a. who hated bill just didn't like his coaching style. would be interesting to see if there were more to it.

Observing Belichick from afar I have a really tough time seeing him blast any of his players.
