Patriots Breaking News Pats Resign Bourne

All Patriots news
He’s a #3 receiver, going to be 29 and coming off an ACL tear.

3/19.5 - 3/33…let’s go halfway on the contract and say it’s roughly 3/25.

That’s unjustifiably bad value. There’s no way in hell any other NFL team would have matched that deal.

I just mentioned on Patsfans I don't like the deal unless they have an out after 2024. There was no need to rush to sign a mid WR coming off an ACL tear.

He’s a 1 yr, $5M base, $8M triggers type of player.

W signing, but what are the guaranteed dollars? Could the team get out after a year if he’s not back in form?

Gotta figure they've built in a slow rebound into the idea.

Hopefully the team won’t have to rely on him as much since the team will seemingly upgrade Flypaper Parker with MHJr and/or Ridley. It’ll help have guys at the split end and flanker positions who can actually get separation.

Yeah.... I'm looking at him being a WR3/WR4 this year, along with Douglas (whom I look at as a guy who's snaps have to be watched until he proves more durable). I think this team still needs to bring in the WR1 and WR2.

Not with the Patriots, though, right?

Right?

Please say "right"....
