Patty Mahomes GOAT

This idiocy is a great example of why sites have the ignore thread option. We'll have to give LG another assignment...

You're not a fan of fiction? Even pop fiction like Stephen King or Tom Clancy?

It has its place.

It's just about choice. If people want to watch someone train wreck his own thread, this is going to be great for that, because that's exactly what Clay's going to do. But some people will want it off their board, and I won't blame them for that.

I’m good with this being a separate thread.

Brady > Mahomes

Mahomes still needs to pass Baugh, Luckman, Graham, Starr, and Montana, if he has indeed passed Staubach and Unitas. You don’t just jump to the final boss.

Speaking of fiction, I love the irony of Shakespeare's plays...

The "tragedies" are more like horror stories.
The "comedies" are tragedies with a miracle twist happy ending.
And the "histories" are tragic fiction.

Love fiction discussion!

No way in hell to put him above Staubach and Unitas right now, IMO. The notion that he's a top 10 all-time QB already is an absurdity.

Hmmm I'm a Kermit hater as much as Ice but top 10 is around the range I'd put him in.

For a guy with six seasons, and adjusting for era and including 100 years of football and the QB position, that’s a huge compliment, but Mahomos are really something else.

Yeah they should just enjoy this ride.
Not a guarantee he ever gets back to one

Oh cool, A fiction thread!

To Kill a Mockingbird remains my favorite to this day. Adventures of Huckleberry Finn is a close second for me.
Not fiction he's coming for that crown.

I don't but at the same time injuries is the biggest equalizer. You guys have insane injury luck not to just your team but the opposing ones as well. Great example just last week once Greenlaw went down that's when your offense started to move the ball because it freed up Kelce

You're making me do the thing, damn it!

Can't believe I had to do the thing again

That list was made back before you could clearly have Brady at the top, so a bit of juggling is required, and there's a log jam from 9-13, but Mahomes isn't over the likes of Peyton/Favre/etc... at this point in his career.

And winning SBs against historically weak competition doesn't change that. If Super Bowls were the deciding factor, Bradshaw would be a top 5 all-time QB. And, if Brady hadn't retired, we'd almost certainly be looking at Brady with 8, Mahomes with just 2, and with these idiots still insisting that Patrick was already the best ever, because they don't give a shit about context or reality.

I'll dive into it. Ice made a similar list in PF too

As long as Patrick is healthy it doesn't matter. He's inevitable

Again you're underestimating the other guys around him. In 2013 we lost Gronk to injury couldn't get to the Superbowl in 2015 we lost key offensive pieces and defense as well didn't make the superbowl.
