Patty Mahomes GOAT

The most recent pre-Mahomes attempt to artificially gin up a G.O.A.T. controversy, Aaron Rodgers, is a great example of that truth.
If you recall I also got shit for saying Brees has no staying power as a top 5/8 all time quarterback and will drop like a rock after he retires. Brady passed all his statistical marks and he retired with one ring, one lone SB appearance, and never was considered the best of the best. So many of these talking head morons were actually saying in 2017-20 that Brees could still be a top 4/5 all time QB and could nearly equal Brady with another championship. Lol

It's because they answer with an agenda, rather than pushing themselves to be unbiased. That's how Peyton gets above Staubach on so many lists, for example.

Man. Next year has become crucial. I did some digging and although MaGOAT may have had the best start to a career ever , Brady's peak was in his 30s 💀 The stats overwhelmingly in his favor too . We have to at the bare minimum get to the SB again

Dude, just look at the chart

23 seasons and the man had a better than 3:1 TD:INT ratio and Win:Loss ratio. His average season would make any QB happy! 7 rings.

Mistakenly Anointed Greatest Of All Time

How do you feel about your chances of getting back?

I'm trying to understand Mahomes best run to start a career? Brady in his first 4 years as a starter went 10-0 in his first 10 playoff games with 3 SB wins and 2 SB MVPs. How is Kermit's better?

mahomes has been blown out in 2 superbowls

all 10 of brady's superbowls were ultra competitive and came right down to the wire. (except for his Tampa SB, against Mahomes... where they blew the doors off of the inferior Chiefs). The eagles SB he lost, he broke passing records in that game, but eagles didnt haven to punt once, and their best DB malcolm butler was benched for reasons that to this day still remain a complete unknown

Worthy seems legit, but once kelce retires and eventually chris jones, they'll lose 2 hall of famers from that team and that bus will start to slow down.. they've also had incredible luck with injuries to key positions, which wont last forever.. i know they had some WR injuries this year, but none of them were game breakers or #1 on depth chart

didnt chiefs have 4 offensive lineman go to pro bowl this year?

and as with all scrambling QBs, as they get into their 30's their legs dont work the same way they did in their 20s.. especially if they sustain any injuries.. mahomes style is like sandlot football, run around likne a chicken with his head cut off and then toss the ball up.. that isnt going to work forever, certainly not until 45 years old which is how long Brady played..

Just look at Aaron Rodgers, NFL was quick to proclaim him the GOAT after 1 SB win because of his "other worldly talent", but the wheels fell off quick for him in his 30's, he was similar to mahomes in his style of using his legs to create more time for WRs to get open

Brady was a pure pocket passer... im not sure there are any left in the league anymore, other than maybe Burrow? Its an extinct species at QB in todays NFL, which has continuously been watered down year after year

I was just looking through Brady’s stats:

2022 was widely regarded as his worst season. Losing record thanks to Todd Bowles pulling him in final regular season game ending a 22 year streak (thanks Todd) after blowing the Rams game on an all out blitz the year before (thanks Todd.)

Anyway, back to the stats. Brady’s “downfall” season consisted of the following:

-NFL record for most completions and attempts (still stands)
-Team was ranked dead last in the league in rushing yards and rushing yards/carry
-Brady had just 9 INTs in 733 attempts (1.2%)
-Brady led the league in lowest sack pct (2.91%)

That’s fucking bonkers. He’s basically superhuman.

Brady won with his mind which was superhuman.

All the other greats with the exception of Peyton won with their physical abilities. Mahomes will be lucky to have 2-3 years of productive football left. He has already starting declining and that will continue as he hits age 30 and continues to lose talent around him.

I really hate Bowles.

Also, remember when people thought Leftwich was an offensive genius? LOL LOL LOL

Weis, O’Brien, McDaniels, Leftwich. All offensive geniuses.
