There should be plenty of viable defensive players for them to choose from, so it makes sense. If they go offense, though, that's a different story.
They got Daniels' #2 receiver....not bad...
 
Is it just me, or are people more likely to compare a QB prospect to Manning than Brady? I think everyone knows there is no comparison to Brady.

I that the way Brady was put in a box early on makes comparisons tougher, too. He was the "game manager", and nobody wants to be making that comparison with first round draft picks, no matter how positively the tag may be meant.

Was just telling wifey that at least...Maye was in HS when Brady left the Patriots...and not even alive for Brady's first SB....maybe 2nd..

So, he is far enough removed from the Brady era. It also helps that BB isn't around anymore....it is a fresh start.

It is all about how fast Maye can improve his footwork, how much we can protect him, and whether we get him some outside-the-numbers help....
