they wont call holding on chiefs oline unless its like a WWE suplex or something egregious
the only sketch calls i saw last night were the flag on that long ball from mahomes where it looked like a Bills defender might have picked it, but Chiefs player somehow came away with it.... That was a just in case flag, in case the Bills player came away with it.. the holding call against travis kelce was bullshit, all that contact was within 5 yards
and then the back to back terrible spots for the bills on 3rd and 4th down... 3rd down, he passed it to Kincaid i believe who lunged forward and was clearly over the first down.. but they spotted him way back, announcers made a comment about it and even my wife who doesnt watch much football was like, "wow really, he made it further than that"
then bills instead of challenging, raced to the line and called a QB sneak with Allen.. line officials on each side spotted it differently, the right line judge had him getting the first down and Allen was facing towards that line judge (and the ball), the other side line judge could only see Allen's backside, he couldn't see the ball at all and yet he somehow was able to over rule the line judge with the better view and mark it short.. even the announcers said it looked like allen made it, but since they called it short on the field it couldnt be over turned.. if they went with the right line judge call, it would have been a first down and wouldnt have been overturned
those are just examples of putting their finger on the scale.. no guarantee buffalo goes down and scores there, but they were denied the opportunity because of poor officiating... but in terms of bad officiating in chiefs games, this was on the lighter side of the scale, but still bullshit
and another example is that screenshot you posted, a clear hold on the bills player but they just simply wont call those against KC
and then get unnecessary roughness call against bills for a facemask headbutt situation that you see many times throughout season, and they often dont even call that stuff in regular season games nevermind a championship game.. i thought they called it for the tackle on Mahomo when he ran it into endzone, so i was irate.. the headbutt call was less egregious but still bogus for a championship game when its generally understood that they're very heated and refs always let more stuff fly in those situations, but not when it would favor KC
when i find the time ill try to put together a highlight reel of their 2nd SB win in the playoffs.. that was by far the most egregious shit ive ever seen, it was like a 2006 AFCCG level of bad officiating, but in every single one of their playoff games and SB that helped deliver their 2nd SB win
