NFL GameDay The Official Championship Round Game Day Thread

GameDay Discussion
How do you lose the ball from a simple body to body collision?
You’re supposed to carry it high and tight because your arm is between the defender’s helmet and the ball. When it’s low and away, there’s no buffer.

Eagles injuries incoming

@Lord Chevy we just need a Redskins rushing TD now. And some Redskins points.

They're playing desperate and stupid. Maybe it'll work for them.
Desperate sure….

But stupid? On the opening drive they went for it twice on 4th down. The first time a punt would have only flipped field position by maybe 15 yards….2nd time was to buy a shaky kicker 5 more yards. Then they kicked the figgie the 3rd time.

Punter throwing a pass on 4th down…they had to do something being down 14-3….it paid off.

Yes. Definitely stupid. And stupid works until it doesn't, as the Lions just learned.

I don't care what anal-Linux says, going for 2 in the first half of games is retarded,.. I'd argue all the way up until 4th quarter crunch time it's dumb. Unless you're getting crushed and time is going to be a factor.

Don’t go for two until you need to.
