The training camp thread.

Mahomes is always inevitable

Tom Brady didn't find that to be the case.

Part of me hopes he comes back to play for the Raiders and we can avenge our losses.

If it's a playoff game, you're losing, so be careful what you wish for. Chiefs fans should just be thrilled that the current QB crop is weak at the top, because that's how Mahomes is going to make his bones.

I did specify that part of me wishes. The other part wants nothing to do with a Brady return. I talk a lot of shit, but he's probably the only other QB with the mental fortitude to match Mahomes.

I get it, man. After 2011, I didn't need to see a Patriots-Giants round three, and that's even knowing that Eli couldn't hold Brady's jock.

He’s one of the greatest competitors of all time in any American (or global for that matter) sport. He’s going to fun to listen to this year.

Patriots offense reportedly got its ass kicked in the joint practice today. Not surprisingly, the WRs and OL got called out as having been particularly bad.
The O line is a real problem, I'm not worried about the WR's. I think they'll have some growing pains but be good enough. Not sure we can get the ball to them if QB is on his back in 1 second.

The Patriots are counting on a WR who was the WR3 on his college team last year to be their WR1 this year. You should be worried about that, IMO.

Nah I'm not worried, who needs a #1 when you've got a half dozen 2's and 3's?
