The training camp thread.

Just give us Aiyuk and accept your fate that you'll never defeat MAGOAT.
Ha those two losses had more to do with Kyle not being able to close the game out than the Chiefs doing anything special.

The Lions are due for a bit of a fall back, too.
I sure hope so. The division is tough and we most likely are going to be with the worst QB in the North at least on paper. I think Caleb will be a bust.

I actually believe he's going to be a kid to look out for. I know a lot of his antics turned off a lot of people but the talent is there.

I'm not even referring to the antics or anything something just feels off about him. I'm not a college expert however so I would rather not speak too much on things I do not know much about.

Thats fair. It is good to see Jefferson back healthy. He's amazing to watch let's see what type of year he has.

Darnold looking good is a good thing. It pushes JJ to improve without the pressure of having to start on September 8th. Looking good in practice does not mean you will play well in real games; this applies to all QBs. I'd like to see Darnold play four to eight games before they start JJ. And if Darnold is actually effective and the Vikings are competitive and winning, then JJ has to earn his starting spot. I always want the Vikings to contend and win close games.

Who would you start if you had the power?

Darnold. Let JJ earn his starting spot don't just give it to him because he's a high draft pick.

Lance somewhat improved today, but it is preseason
He made some nice throws with a clean pocket. His issue continues to be his eyes dropping at the first sign of pressure - even if it isn’t there. I don’t think he will ever be a starter at this point.
