not sure why the hate on McDaniels, he's always been a great OC and he even helped Mac fucking Jones have a really good rookie year
Yeah I’d cut off Vrabel’s cock for a Super Bowl, too. No problem. I miss my favorite team winning them.Well...as long as it isn't my DICK that we are talking about.....

I guess I’m in the minority, but I’m happy about McDaniels being back as OC, too.
Granted, I’m more of a defensive-minded guy, but I believe that the big difference between the E-P and the WC offense is that the E-P uses letters whereas the WCO uses numbers in their play calls. Honestly, I think Maye does a good job reading a defense. I think the E-P would fit him like a glove.McD is a good OC, but I'd like to see what else is out there....not sure the Ernhardt-Perkins offense variation is the best for Maye.

Whatever we do....I'd like a stable OC for the rest of Maye's rookie contract. That is what McD has going for him....he won't be interviewing for HC jobs the next 3 seasons unless Maye finds himself in the MVP race before we pick up his 5th year.....Granted, I’m more of a defensive-minded guy, but I believe that the big difference between the E-P and the WC offense is that the E-P uses letters whereas the WCO uses numbers in their play calls. Gronk just said on Fox NFL Sunday that he thinks Vrabes should call up McDaniels immediately.
Mike Vrabel is bringing a new voice into the Patriots front office.
According to a source, the expectation is that Ryan Cowden will join New England’s front office in some capacity. A long-time executive, Cowden, 46, spent the last two seasons with the Giants as an executive advisor to general manager Joe Schoen. It’s unknown what Cowden’s exact title will be in Foxborough, but Charles Robinson of Yahoo reports executive vice president of player personnel Eliot Wolf will retain personnel control.
Cowden’s connection with Vrabel goes back to their time in Tennessee where he was the Titans director of player personnel (2016–2017), vice president of player personnel (2018–2022), and interim general manager (2022). According to The Athletic, Vrabel wanted Cowden to be the Titans general manager in 2023, but owner Amy Adams Strunk hired Ran Carthon instead...
Wonder who he is talking about here?
The thing I like about Josh is we KNOW he's not leaving for another HC gig. We would have him for a number of years. I am fine with Josh, I trust Vrabel to make a good choice here regardless. He was the obvious choice last year. He was the obvious choice this year. The next good reason given for him not to have been hired will be the first good reason given for him not to have been hired.
And the same will be true with McDaniels, if he gets the O.C. job.
He did find a way to get Edelman his one game record in receiving yards with Cam. I think that game wiped him out though. Not sure he played more than another game after that before retiring.Jones, Cassel, Hoyer, JAG, Orton....
All were developed or improved by McDaniels, and McDaniels even found a way to have the corpse of Cam Newton to at least display some semblance of an ability to still play well enough to win some games.
But that gets ignored.
I sincerely hope vrabel was trolling kraft with that jets interview.
Ha I didn't even read that part! My takeaway was that there were people inside the building reconsidering Mayo/Vrabel last year before they officially hired Mayo.I sincerely hope vrabel was trolling kraft with that jets interview.
Oh. Yeah. The name tells me everything I need to know there. That person doesn’t have a fucking clue about the game.
