Gloves and Speedo Workout, Fitness & Nutrition Thread

If there’s one example of a man who I’d like to look like, in terms of body and muscle, it’s Roger Federer. I love the lean muscular look and the forearms and calves (those are my two favorite muscles to work out.).

What do you think of him @HSanders ?

@Ice_Ice_Brady i do tend towards the well-toned but not overly musclebound type ("regular guy"+) so, good goal! with what you do,i'd find it hard to believe you aren't at this level.

oh and i like doing calves too. . i have the arm strength of an 8 y.o. boy so i need that work even more lol. though they are getting better.

Women don’t have the same muscular structure as men. Sorry if this triggers the woke crowd lol .

I don’t know how to say it without offending some of these really “big brain” progressives. Women build muscle (and store fat) primarily in the hips, glutes, and legs, not arms, shoulders, forearms, etc. It’s funny that this needs to be reiterated in society. Lol

On a similar note, I don’t feel my masculinity is threatened at all when a woman squats, deadlifts, or hip thrusts more than me. I see it as the natural order. Women are much more flexible (not to mention graceful, see figure skating, cheerleading, dancing) than men too.

it's sad that biology being factual upsets people...😄

Gonna assume >50% who go to the gym do so to look better to women (or men if they’re gay.)

But what’s weird is: go look at Reddit (multiple threads) and ask women which muscles they find most attractive. There’s a big variety, so if’s good (among many other reasons to work every muscle), but one that always stands out and comes up again and again…

Forearms

Which is why my observation is so odd.

I’ve seen thousands of guys at the gym and zero besides me work on their forearms. I’ve only been going to the gym 10 months (I had nothing when I started) and I’ve already gotten some great definition, and it wasn’t hard.

10 minutes when I do upper body day.

I choose one of these every upper workout, 3 sets, 4-12 reps like any other muscle.

Wrist Curls
Reverse Wrist Curls
Incline Wrist Curls
Reverse Incline Wrist Curls
Barbell/EZ Bar Wrist Curls
Reverse Barbell/EX Bar Curls

I also do brachialis (hammer curls, reverse curls etc) for upper forearm/lower bicep.
