Scherff was really bad last year. This is going to be a surprise for Jags fans around here. I was just listening to the local radio, and the consensus was that they would try to cut him.
They'll make some lower money signings to offset some of what they've lost. This looks to be a year with a pretty good supply of still talented players who are going to be cut loose.
He should go to Miami. They have the need for a RB who can operate between the tackles.
Mostert/Achane can tire them out with their speed and Henry will take over or vice versa
Without seeing the details (and we all know that it's all in the details, more than ever), that price seems way too high.

wouldnt want our defense having to deal with the wear and tear of playing him 2 times a year

Not complaining. We can do a lot of maneuvering maybe even jump ahead in the draft
I'm not a fan of comp picks, but to say that the system's broken because Chicago's made trades and the Niners have let players walk, which is effectively what's being implied there, is bizarre.
