I feel bad for him. SB42 still stings.
In a way and I may get push back here I think it was a blessing in disguise the SB 42 loss. If we would've won I don't think Tom gets to 7 lol the fire wouldn't have been as intense

I had that same thought…but I still can’t even watch anything that visually references that game.

Guys using “on pace” stuff like “Mahomes is 3-2 in Super Bowls at age 29; Brady was 3-2 in Super Bowls at age 34.”…

Do they honestly think Mahomes is going to play at a high level into his 40s? Because he’s already in decline. This has been obvious even before this game. A running QB approaching 30, being in decline, isn’t a hot take.

Not saying he’ll fall off a cliff but I’ll be surprised if he’s still playing (anywhere near elite) at age 36/37. Needing to win 4-5 championships in 7 years (highly improbable) is quite different than 13 years.

One thing that gets ignored is that Brady had a lesser squad around him for most of that time. The Patriots had a legitimately great team for just 2 years in the 2001-2006 stretch. Year 2001 was a good team that played above its weight, and 2002 showed that. 2005 was the rebuild/stroke yearm, and 2006 was the year without WRs.

2007 was the greatest team ever assemebled, but 2008 saw Brady miss the season, and 2009 was Brady recovering from that ACL surgery and setback in 2008, as well as a problem roster. So we get to 2010 with Brady having great teams just 3 times in that stretch, and with Brady having 2 years impacted by his surgery

And the Patriots still probably win 2 more SBs during that stretch if it weren't for the officials blowing completely obvious calls (2006 AFC Championship, 2007 SB).

Order has been restored!

Mahomes finally ran into a buzz saw and didn't have the firepower to overcome it. My prediction that trading Tyrek Hill was a mistake took 3 years to come true. It makes me think how the Eagles didn't beat them down in the first meeting along with the 49ers completely choking in last years Super Bowl.

Trent McDuffie looked awful last night. Chris Jones twisted himself into a pretzel and injuring himself in the process. The Chiefs focused on Saquon so much that when it was time to rush the passer, Hurts just ran away from them.

With Kelce slowing down, no WR's and a terrible O-line, the rest of the AFC needs to wake up and bring in reinforcements as KC is mortal.

I agree with you. But remember, Buffalo beats the Chiefs if the officials get the calls right. What Buffalo needs to do is to improve enough to win outside the margin of officials cheating.

Reading the posts on the halftime show gave me a good laugh. I grew up in the 80's and 90's and rap back then was the golden era where they got a lot of resistance from critics. Now they are winning tons of Grammy's and celebrated by woke Gen Z when they are far inferior to the guys that paved the way for them.

Tom Brady, one day after the AFCCG, could have swapped in for Patty (to get the two weeks to prep) and won on gameday.

Buffalo needs WR's and a defense. Their defense has been trash for years and constantly gets exposed by competent teams.

They are still pretty much the same team that got owned by the BB/Brady teams. They'd be fighting for a Wild Card had the Pats still had the core dynasty guys.

That defense was good enough to beat the Chiefs, and it did, realistically.

Josh Allen is a ho.

He will never win a Super Bowl.

Brady won championships at ages 37, 39, 41, 43. That will never happen again.

They're in for a rude awakening when they realize TB12 prime was in his 30s lol
There's still this prevalent myth that quarterbacks play longer now. Brady is really the outlier. Brees creeped into his 40s but not very far and despite his numbers, he was really beaten up. Rodgers hit a wall around 40. Roethlisberger, Rivers, Manning, all just the same as every QB in the league's history...hitting the wall at around age 35-38. Wilson, Ryan, Stafford (soon.) Just because you're a great player doesn't automatically add longevity. Brady basically got an extra half-career which he capitalized on. On a normal QB scale, his win against Seattle, which got him to 4 Super Bowls, would be just about the end of the road.

Where do you think Rodgers ends up next season?

Mahomes can't win in the postseason with Brady in the building
