I lol at all the money people I know lose on sports betting. The Brady era Patriots stopped me from betting on sports forever.
Patriots would be humiliating every team in the NFL by 35 points with Brady sitting for 10 minutes of the 4th quarter, Vegas gives them 7 at home against a bottom 8 team in the league, you bet real money thinking it’s a lock for one of the most prolific offenses of all time, they squeak out a win by 3.

My problem has always been with "locks" that end up killing me on fluke happenings. I could make a living playing it straight, but my tendency to go big on locks would keep me always on edge.

Just have to be smart about it and it can be passive income. I load $100 in, cash out any winnings over that, and play until that money runs out. Most people lose their asses on parlays. Betting spreads or straight-up winners is where it’s at.

I don’t think McCarthy survives the season. His chances of getting fired get higher the longer Parsons is out and, even then, they’re soft. They remind me of the 2009 Pats in a way.
