GameDay Discussion
I don’t think McCarthy survives the season. His chances of getting fired get higher the longer Parsons is out and, even then, they’re soft. They remind me of the 2009 Pats in a way.

Coaching the Cowboys looked like a pretty good idea for BB at the end of last season. Now, given the actions of the Cowboys, and Jones' commentary, I'd recommend that BB pass on the gig.

He should take either the Philly job or the Jacksonville job (assuming Pederson washes out because he didn’t look like he gave much of a shit today). The former is tailor made for him but he might be able to resurrect Lawrence’s career by bringing in McDaniels, installing the E-P, and taking more advantage of his legs.

How does Burrow have MVP numbers at 1-4?

I’m not usually calling for band-aid in season trades, but there must be some decent, minimally competent backup LT on the bench somewhere who is worth a late round pick. Patriots offensive line isn’t that horrible. They’re not good but they’re competent most of the time. LT is horrible.

I'd be more high on the Jacksonville gig for him if I thought he was looking long term, but nothing I've seen makes me think he wants to put in the needed time for another 5+ seasons. His last few years in New England left me with exactly the opposite impression, actually.

But I would love to see if Lawrence could effectively command a stripped down version of the TB12 offense.

Bengals v. Giants is a 10-7 game in the 4th, and that's just because the Giants just missed a 47 yard FG that would have tied it up. Cincinnati seems like a broken team, right now.

Burrow is in the blue tent, and the backup QB is warming up.

Edit: He's on the bench, so he's probably been cleared

Giants fail on a 4th down try and the Bengals take over with about 3 minutes to go. That 3.5 is looming large...

Huge play:

Bengals fumbled the ball after a completion on first down, but the Giants couldn't get it before the ball went out of bounds.

The Giants moved the ball down the field, went for the field goal to set up an onside kick situation...

and missed the FGA

Bengals win
