So he may take a below market deal to stay with the Jaguars and keep Jones on that squad.I believe if Ridley re-signs today ATL gets a 2nd, if it’s after the start of the league year it’s a 3rd
We could always back up the Brinks truck, but I’d caution that. He’s going to be 30, has had past issues with depression (or whatever that was in ATL) and was suspended a season for gambling. He also runs some sloppy ass routes which resulted in INTs on batted balls. He’s as physically talented as it gets and is one of the most explosive WRs in the league in and out of cuts, but he also has issues. I have a bunch of friends who are Jags diehards and many of them don’t really care if Ridley comes back. They were frustrated with him last year.
