Belichick agrees to become Head Coach of UNC

I figured it out.I went to x and searched his name and "x account" and eventually I found somebody saying welcome to x bill Belichick and put his Twitter handle up there and I was able to click that and that went to where I could follow it. it's weird that when I typed it in exactly how it was spelled it just wouldn't come up even with the underscore.

The link I provided should have lead you right to it. I'm glad you found it though!!

North Carolina football, under the direction of Bill Belichick, continues to shape together the football coaching staff for the next season. That list now includes another big name from a CFP-featured program.

Matt Lombardi is expected to join Bill Belichick and UNC football as an offensive assistant that might rise as high as the quarterback's coach for Belichick, a position Lombardi is not new to.

Currently, with the Ducks, Lombardi is an offensive analyst. However, he has spent time in the NFL with numerous organizations, including an assistant quarterbacks coach with the Carolina Panthers and an offensive assistant coach with the Las Vegas Raiders.

Lombardi was part of Oregon's success this season rising as one of the best offenses in college football as the Big Ten champion and No. 1 team in the first-ever 12-team College Football Playoff.

Belichick started by hiring Michael Lombardi as the team's general manager. He continued by keeping Freddie Kitchens, who has been rumored to be the team's new offensive coordinator. Stephen Belichick joined the staff as the team's defensive coordinator coming over from Washington.

Who could be the next name that Belichick hires? He has been rumored to be in talks with several exiting New England Patriots coaches as well as some other top college football talent.

Bill Belichick has seemed to make it clear that he's not leaving his new home at North Carolina for the NFL.

But the buzz about him pulling the same move he made from the New York Jets to the New England Patriots hasn't gone away. And now, per a new report, it's going to get louder.

Per CBS Sports: "Sources tell CBS Sports — and UNC confirmed this week — that there is no fully-executed and signed contract between Belichick and UNC. And industry sources say that could lead to a legal gray area about how much, if any, of a buyout there would be if Belichick left for the pros."

Apparently, Belichick has only signed the "term sheet proposal" and not the full contract, which isn't actually out of the ordinary -- Sherrone Moore officially signed his contract with Michigan after coaching two games without one.

So this isn't going to help with all the NFL talk, and North Carolina GM Michael Lombardi continues to deny Belichick is focused on anything but recruiting right now.
