Me personally I would take MHJ. None of the QBs including Williams give me any certainty. In fact no QB probably since Andrew Luck and Burrow have warrant a top 3 pick

I agree with this. Although my first choice would be a blockbuster trade down.

Depends on the terms.

For us to give up the #3 pick, I'd like a package similar to what the Bears got last year.

By giving up the #3 pick, we likely are rolling with Brissett + Penix/Nix..... if that works out, great...if not, I want to definitely be back here in the top 5 next year.

Minnesota's #11, their 1st next year, and Justin Jefferson would do it for me...LOL.

That's why I said blockbuster. And I'm fine having another high pick if they think the #2 and #3 QB's this year aren't it.

A trade down just for the sake of trading down is not a choice. Then just pick BPA if we don't get crazy loot.

Who do you want the Patriots taking at 3?

MHJ, Alt, Maye or trade back

im pretty open to whatever

im not a fan of taking the 3rd best player at their position with the #3 pick tho (ie; QB)

i feel teams are QB needy, so they take chances on QBs.. but as we saw with the Mac Jones draft, 5 QBs taken and only 1 looks to be remotely legit

Lawrence went #1, hes ok but still hasnt taken his game to another level yet
Zach Wilson went #2, epic bust
Trey Lance went #3 even more of a bust than Wilson, because the 49ers gave up the farm to move to #3 to get him
Justin FIelds has sucked
Mac Jones has sucked

So what are the odds we nail a homerun by taking the 3rd best QB? Just seems like a huge gamble for a team that has so many needs... MHJ or Joe Alt would be safe pick to give us blue chipper at major position of need for next 10 years... If we take QB, we're gambling and could come up empty handed

No, no, no to drafting Drake Bortles.

49ers apparently offer Aiyuk to the Jaguars in exchange for Pick 17 and Zay Jones. Steep price just to have to pay him $100M.
Way too much of an ask
AJ Brown was picks 18 and 101, I don't think Ayiuk is that level. A 2nd with possible later round throw-in would be enough IMO. What do you guys think about pick #35?

Let me answer your question with a question. How much are you going to pay Aiyuk after you trade for him? Because the Patriots apparently balked at anything more than $22m for Ridley, even when that WR cost nothing but money.
